I Was Thinking...Little Is Much

Episode 8: November 5, 2022 (This will be a short one)

 

I’ve been thinking…Little is much… when God is in it!  Labor not for wealth or fame.  There’s a crown – and you can win it, if you go in Jesus name.  I have seen this in action today!  I’ve seen God’s hand and God’s Spirit at work today!  In an event that some said it would fail has gone over and above what anyone could have imagined.  I absolutely love it when God shows off!! PRAISE THE LORD!! 

 

I cannot wait to get to church and brag about my God!!

April 10, 2023 Episode 21 I was thinking about….criticism vs critiquing. I believe this is a fine line that people walk when events are going on and that people get these two things mixed up. I believe defining the two is vital in this personal discussion. to critiquing: give an opinion or judgment about a piece or work, book, movie, etc criticism: the act of giving your opinion or judgment about the good or bad qualities of something or someone Hey guess what, these two things are very, very similar!! If not the same. I Was Thinking....About Feelings

  January 13, 2023 Episode 17   I was thinking…About feelings.  Yes, I said feelings.  😊    I do have feelings!  I just have difficulty showing them.  Why is it it’s so easy to get our feelings hurt?  How do we over come getting hurt, angry, frustrated, Etc.?  I was thinking about this while I steam cleaned the carpets at the church and let me tell you that the carpets at the church really needed cleaned!!  What do you think of when you think of carpets?  It’s a place that you walk.  Things rest upon it?  It holds things (dirt, water, etc). It takes a beating!   Compare that to feelings.  Don’t our feelings take a beating?  Can’t someone race through different emotions in a short amount of time???? When we engage with other people throughout our day we stack different emotions on top of each other just like a carpet collects the junk and crud that falls on it as well as the weight of other items resting heavily on it.  Don’t we do this?  Don’t we do this?  Allowing the junk of the day

I was thinking about....FREEDOM

July 3, 2023 Episode 22 I was thinking…About FREEDOM. This being the 3rd of July, the only obvious thing to be thinking about is FREEDOM! Even though today is a Monday and the 4th is on Tuesday, there seemed to be a lot of activities going on over the weekend and that has made me wonder why is it, we only seem to be worried about freedom once a year. Are we truly thankful for our freedom? People will cook out, go camping, go fishing, watch hot air balloons and watching fireworks. I’m truly surprised that with the way society is going (its “wokeness), the freedom to celebrate freedom has not been taken away. There is one freedom that nobody can take away and that is our freedom from sin. I love how Galatians 5:1 says, “Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you.” (The Message). The cool thing is, anyone can have this freedom. Romans 10:9 tells us, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and b
